Obstgarten
Wenn wir an Kirschen denken, fallen uns die
Kirschen aus Nachbars Garten oder aber die
berühmte Piemont-Kirsche ein. Das Kirschbaum-
holz, aus dem Türen hergestellt werden, kommt
jedoch nicht von Obstwiesen, sondern wird im
Mischwald gezielt angebaut. Nur dort werden
die Kirschbäume so hoch, um verwendbares
Rohmaterial zu produzieren.
When you start thinking about cherries you will
probably remember the cherries of the neighbouring
garden or the famous Piemont cherry.
The black cherry wood which is used for doors is
not taken from usual fruit orchards but from mixed
forests where it is grown only for this kind of
purpose. Only here black cherry trees are long and
tall to produce suitable raw material.
