Ahorn
Maple
Ahorn findet nicht nur bei der Herstellung von
Türen Verwendung. Kunsttischlern dient das Ahorn-
holz für die Herstellung feinster Möbel, wobei es
auch für Intarsienarbeiten Verwendung findet.
Darüber hinaus wird Ahornholz beim Bau von
Musikinstrumenten eingesetzt, was seine Hoch-
wertigkeit nochmals unterstreicht. Selbst Länder
schmücken sich mit dem Ahorn. So zeigt die Flagge
Kanadas ein Ahornblatt, welches die ausgedehnten
Wälder des Landes verdeutlichen soll.
Ahornholz ist gleichmäßig strukturiert und mit
einer zarten Zeichnung ausgestattet. Türen aus
Ahorn schaffen durch ihre Helligkeit ein freund-
liches, offenes und luftiges Wohnambiente.
